Getting the Most Out of Your Dry Herb Vaporizer

So you’ve got your dry herb vaporizer… now what? Whether you’re new to vaping or just looking to get a little more out of your sessions, a few simple habits can make a big difference.

Start With the Right Grind

Don’t go crazy with the grinder. You want your herb broken up evenly without turning it into dust. A medium, fluffy grind usually gives your vaporizer enough airflow while still allowing the heat to move through the herb evenly.

Don’t Pack It Like a Snowball

It can be tempting to cram as much herb as possible into the chamber, but more isn’t always better. Overpacking can restrict airflow and make it harder for your device to heat everything evenly. Give your herb a little room to breathe.

Temperature Matters

Different temperatures can give you a different experience. Lower temperatures generally produce lighter, more flavour-focused vapor, while higher temperatures create thicker vapor. Start lower and work your way up until you find what works for you.

Slow and Steady Wins

You don’t need to rip your vaporizer like you’re trying to drain a milkshake! A slow, steady draw usually gives the heater more time to do its thing and can help produce smoother, more consistent vapor.

Keep It Clean

Nobody likes a crusty vape. Regular cleaning helps maintain airflow, flavour and performance. Check your manufacturer's instructions for which parts can be removed and how they should be cleaned.

!! And Don’t Forget the ABV !!

One of the fun things about dry herb vaping is that your already-vaped bud (ABV) may still have uses. Depending on how thoroughly it was vaporized, some people save it for cooking or other preparations. Just remember that potency can vary, so treat it accordingly.

A little experimenting goes a long way. Try different grind sizes, temperatures and draw speeds to figure out what your vaporizer likes — and what you like.

Happy vaping! 🌿💨
