Information - Shipping, Placing & Paying For Orders, Tobacco & Dangerous Goods
Shipping Within Canada:
Due to Federal Tobacco regulations in Canada, we are not permitted to ship tobacco to consumers in other Provinces within Canada.
All online shipping orders can be paid with Electronic Funds Transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by credit card over the phone . We also require confirmation of legal age when purchasing tobacco, or when paying by credit card. This can be done through email to email@example.com. We require picture of the customer holding their photo ID with their face, birth date and ID photo easily visible and the order number as the email subject, the name on the ID must match the name on the order. If there are any issues with confirming your age you will be contacted by our staff and your order will not be shipped until verified.
When paying by credit card over the phone during open business hours, please call 403-343-1588 and we can accept your payment. If it is not during open business hours, one of our staff members will call you the next day. We must receive a picture ID photo before we accept the card number.
We try to have orders ready to ship within 72 hours, you will receive a notification in your email when your package has shipped. All parcels are shipped through Canada Post and will have a Canada Post tracking number.

Oversized Packages & Remote Location Shipping
Shipping cost may be subject to change depending on location and package size. We may pay a portion of the shipping cost, while the remainder will be the customer's responsibility. This may change the order total. We will contact you if there are any added shipping costs.
**DANGEROUS GOODS CAN NOT BE SHIPPED AND ARE AVAILABLE ONLY FOR PICKUP**
Placing a Pickup Order:
If you prefer not to place your order online through the website, call the shop during business hours at 403-343-1588 or message us through social media @gordssmokeshop on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
If your order is placed online we try to have pickup ready within 2 hours of your order being confirmed and you can choose to be notified by email, text, or phone call when it is ready. Pickup orders placed after 4pm will be available for pickup the following day at 10am unless notified otherwise. If you have placed your order over the phone or through social media we will notify you when it is ready at that time.
Paying for a Pickup Order:
Payment can be made by e-transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org, or paid at time of pickup with Interact, Visa, and MasterCard. Gift cards can also be accepted at time of pickup, or called in ahead of time.
Government issued photo ID is required for all pickups of tobacco products. Proof of legal age can be presented at time of pickup if paying at that time, or, if paying with e-transfer, sent in an email to email@example.com with a picture of the customer holding their photo ID with their face, birth date and ID photo easily visible and the order number as the email subject.
Receiving a Backdoor Pickup Order:
Please wait for confirmation that your order is ready for pickup through your preferred notification method. When you are outside of the shop in the receiving area please call (403)-343-1588 with your order number and/or first name.
If you have paid with e-transfer beforehand we will confirm that we have received proof of legal age if purchasing tobacco. If you choose to pay at the time of pickup we will require your photo ID at that time. Please note that no tobacco items will be released without confirmation of required legal age.
All Dangerous Goods Are NOT Available For Shipping

If these items are added to your cart to be shipped you will be contacted by our staff and your order will not be processed. These items are available for purchase online if in-store pickup.
Tobacco is NOT Available For Shipping Outside Of Alberta
If you place an order for tobacco to be shipped outside of Alberta and we have to refund your e-transfer payment, you will be charged a $3.00 fee for the refund e-transfer.
We can ship tobacco within Alberta.

Broken Item Disclaimer
We are not responsible for broken items.
We take pictures of all items before packing and shipping to confirm accuracy and quality.
Once the shipping company has possession of the package, all broken items must be dealt with through the shipping company, not Gord's Smoke Shop.
