Round-shouldered and full-cheeked, the Apple is one of briar’s friendliest forms, its soft spherical bowl sitting naturally in the palm. Part of Peterson’s compact Junior line, it’s a small, pocketable rendition of the form, its diminutive proportions nodding to early-20th-century pipe design.
The bowl wears a craggy sandblast that raises the grain into relief, set off by a sterling silver band at the shank and a jet-black vulcanite fishtail stem. A neat, affordable little Peterson well suited to the smoker who prefers curves to corners and wants a relaxed all-day shape.
